Restaurant Mortens Kro is a childhood dream that started in my parents 'living room just over 45 years ago when I invited neighbors and family at Morten's inn in my parents' living room- in 1997 Morten's inn opened as a real restaurant in the center of Aalborg after I won the title in 1996 This year's chef. We offer an international environment with plenty of space in luxurious frames with exciting art and furniture design. Located in Mølleå in the old town of Aalborg. On top of the restaurant we have our city de luxe suites for accommodation of 86 sqm and 112 sqm respectively. At Morten's inn there is life - here there is room to laugh - lots of smiles and should you feel like taking a swing just because you are happy we also play music. Mortens Kro is the only restaurant in Aalborg that since 2007 has achieved all 6 forks of Nordjyskes food review corps and we have actually picked it up 3 times between 2007-2016. Nominated for the restaurant of the year 2017 the Danish food guide.Years lunch restaurant 2017 Winner of this year's herring 2018 and Nominated for the year's dish 2018 in the category smørrebrød of the Danish food reporters.

At lunch we serve modern openfaced sandwichies  and at dinner we serve seassonal tasting menu and signature dishes.
